Movember Ace Barber Party! 09/11/2015

(share this post with your hairy friends!)
Sunday 29th November
Noon - Late
Hairy Post-Halloween Advice
Ace Cafe London is privileged to host the father and son team of Robert & Dan Rix of The Company of Master Barbers, Male Grooming Salon of the Year winners of the 2015 British Hairdressing Awards who, together with Best Barbershop and Best Men’s Salon winners Savills Barbers and “The Original Clipper Skipper”, Frank Rimer, the Creative & Classic Master at Thy Barber, and Dan Gregory of Man Made London, all are at the cafe from Noon ‘till late for a very special day in aid of the global men’s health charity The Movember Foundation, on Sunday 29th November.

All co-ordinated by Garry Spencer and the team at the Great British Barber Bash, the addition of five snipper wielding London Guerrilla guys named “Mo”, makes for it being a day with the Dirty Dozen!
The Movember Foundation is a global charity raising funds and awareness for men’s health. These funds deliver breakthrough research and support services to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives. Since 2003, five million have joined the Movember men’s health movement around the world and raised £402m, funding over 1000 programmes through impact investments that focus on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
Celebrate the end of the Movember by shaving off your Mo (moustache) or having it expertly trimmed if you love it too much now to say goodbye! Rocking a beard? Why not sacrifice it for men’s health on the day and raise some funds along the way? The award winning array of expert British barbers have kindly agreed to assemble, all tooled up, for this very special fund-raising occasion to get you guys looking neat,  sitting comfortably in a traditional barber’s chair courtesy Takara Belmont, whilst doing good!

For the kids and the ladies out there that can’t grow a moustache but want to join in and support on the day, and courtesy of the experts at “Milly Madness” we will also have face painters at the Ace where you can pick which Mo you’d like to have painted on and! Will you go for the Chaplin, the Lemme or perhaps the Dali?

Should the barbers handiwork, whether with razors, clippers, scissors or comb, prove too disturbing or gruesome, do not be alarmed as, along with first aid kit at the ready, the great sponsors not only include HP Sauce, Marshall Amps and Black & White Hair Wax, but  a “ton” (100) of perhaps Britain’s favourite item of multi-functional winter headwear, that hides everything including embarrassment, the “Buff”, courtesy Buffwear!
Cut-throat charity pricing at the Ace on the day at:
Moustache Shaved £10
Moustache & Beard £15
Take a quick haircut £15
Or lose the lot, hair, moustache & beard for £30!
Will you be one of the ton?
