Elvis "That's All Right" Tribute Night! 28/05/2014

Saturday 9th August
9pm - 2am

Ace Cafe London's annual Elvis Tribute Night, held at the cafe from 9pm - 2am on Saturday 9th August, this year celebrates the 60th anniversary of the 1954 Sam Phillips "Sun" recording, and subsequent play by DJ Dewey Phillips on his Memphis "Red Hot & Blue" radio show, of "That's All Right" - Elvis, with Scotty Moore and Bill Black, the world was a changed place!

The evening, at the Ace, features the talented and dynamic Mark Keeley (lead vocals and guitar) and four-piece professional group "Good Rocking Tonight" who, following their 1994 debut on national TV, have established themselves as the UK's No.1 rock n' roll show, supporting many of the rock n' roll greats to include Marty Wilde, Buddy Holly's "Crickets" and Bill Haley's "Comets" to name but a few.

There will be prizes up for grabs on the evening, including copies of Vintage Rock Magazine, "Ace" meal vouchers for two, and courtesy of the UK label Vee-Tone Records, a CD set of three volumes that showcase the music from the "King's" personal jukebox, carefully chosen to demonstrate the young Elvis Presley's wide musical tastes, including Blues, Rhythm n' Blues, Rockabilly and Rock n' Roll.

For a chance to win, just retain your entry raffle ticket.
