Ace Cafe "Ton Up Day" at Brooklands 23/04/2013

Plans are now well advanced for this event on Sunday 23rd June at Brooklands Museum. A unique mix of racing machinery has been promised to bring to life 100mph legends of the Brooklands era and the post-War years right up to the present day.  There is also a special feature for "Cafe Racers" and some very shiny bikes have been entered already. There is a trophy for the best Cafe Racer.

The Brooklands Test Hill will be used before and after lunch and there will be static engine runs of some machines that will not take to the Hill.

A highlight of the entry is the 2013 Smiths Racing British Superbike Team.

Although not strictly "ton up", Johnny Giles will be present to be re-united with his ISDT "works" Triumph.

There will also be stands from public services that use motorcycles as well as some Club stands, each one displaying interesting bikes.

This is a motorcycle day out for a wide range of tastes.  All parking for bikes ridden in will be on-site,

Admission prices and Cafe Racer entry details are shown on the Brooklands Museum website www.brooklandsmuseum.com
